24K is a ten-piece AMAZING band based in the Washington, DC, and Baltimore metropolitan area. They have been playing together as a band for nearly 20 years. Fronted by the dynamic singer/saxophonist Kyle Johnson and Miriamm Wright, a nationally renowned singer of Peaches and Herb fame, this band delivers a big sound that is sure to make your party a success. “We’ve played every kind of party imaginable,” says Johnson, “from anniversaries to country clubs. We even played a party for servicemen at Quantico, celebrating their return from the Persian Gulf.” From top 40 to ’70s to ’80s to standards, they’ve got all your bases covered. “The chemistry of the band is obvious from the first chord,” remarks guitarist Bill McCarron. “It’s not like it’s really a conscious effort on our part; we just have a blast playing together.”
