Martin Milan Galbavy, widely known as Ice, hails from Philadelphia, where his journey began at the tender age of 4 with the Philadelphia Mummers Parade.
Growing up, Ice led a typical life—attending school, playing sports, and socializing. By age 11, he was drawn to “pre-teen” dances, coinciding with the rise of hip hop’s Golden Age of Creativity. Ice’s passion for dance led him to sneak into local nightclubs and become a fixture at teen nights, where he won dance contests fueled by sheer joy. His talent was later honed by some of the industry’s finest.
Ice’s path took a turn in college when, after a year as a psychology major, he auditioned for and was accepted into Temple University’s dance department. At 20, he embraced his identity as Ice during his first Bar Mitzvah celebration, marking his entry into Mitzvah entertainment.
Graduating with a BFA from Temple University, Ice has thrived in the Mitzvah entertainment industry for 14 years, driven by a mission to bring joy to others. His performances have spanned the globe, continually evolving as a dancer, individual, and entertainer, with a special joy in brightening people’s lives.
Joining Glyde Productions marked a pivotal chapter in his career, blending creativity with action—a place he now considers home. Having been with Glyde Productions for several years, Ice is committed to this collaborative and innovative environment.
For MC Ice, Glyde Productions isn’t just a workplace; it’s where he belongs.
