A Family Connection Years in the Making

On a perfect late-summer day, David and I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Ryan, who are getting married on October 3rd at the Fairmont Hotel in Pittsburgh. Sarah is the younger sister of Lindsay, whose wedding we photographed back in March 2025 with Susan Supko at the Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, MD — it felt like family working with them again.

A Camp Photographer’s Full-Circle Moment

Sarah’s father, Joe, was the Assistant Camp Director at Capital Camps, where I spent many joyful years as the camp photographer more than 20 years ago. It’s heartwarming to see how those ties from the past continue to shine through in today’s beautiful moments.

An Elegant Session at the Comus Inn

We explored the grounds of the Comus Inn in Dickerson, MD, whose style and elegance made for a beautifully relaxed session — full of laughter, gentle touches, and candid moments that captured who Sarah and Ryan truly are ahead of their wedding day at the Fairmont Hotel in Pittsburgh.
