I take a documentary-style approach, capturing candid moments and heartfelt details that reflect the real emotions and unique story of your event.
Michael has a genuine love for documenting moments, no matter the setting. His style leans heavily on documentary realism, marked by a natural ability to put people at ease and reveal authenticity through the lens.
A former cook turned stay-at-home dad who constantly tests the patience of his two daughters by obsessively photographing them. Raised in Philadelphia, he later moved through Washington D.C. and New York City before settling in Bethesda, Maryland. His passion for photography began with the birth of his first daughter, intensified with the purchase of his first DSLR, and reached full-blown obsession once he got his hands on an iPhone.
Michael photographs everything—the beautiful, the mundane, and the downright messy. Much to his wife’s dismay, he’s been known to snap pictures of his kids mid-meltdown before even asking what’s wrong. He’ll pull over to capture a rusted garage door handle from the 1960s, roadside junk, or branches jutting out of a trash can. Still, his favorite subjects are people—both friends and strangers—going about their daily lives.
