Wedding DJ Chuck Miller has been a part of the WTA and Philly Event Group family for more than 15 years. Former lead vocalist in our band Prime Time, DJ-Tech to our entire company whenever needed, and front man DJ/MC for Weddings, Corporate affairs and any other party you might have. Chuck works the entire Eastern Seaboard from New York to Miami, but most often seen in the DC Metro and Tri-State Philly area.

This is my first time writing a review for a company and I’ll admit to having high expectations after years in the hospitality industry. My husband and I used Philly Event Group for our recent wedding and we couldn’t have been more pleased.
Our DJ was Chuck Miller and in a word he was awesome. Even several guests mentioned what a great DJ we landed! Chuck and I had an initial conversation where I laid out the music I was interested in hearing and the vibe we wanted to create at the reception. Every couple is different and we wanted a DJ that would serve as a master of ceremony of sorts – not obtrusive, but keep things flowing. Chuck eased my concerns and assured me I wouldn’t have any responsibility that day.
On the wedding day he came to the site early, reviewed the plan with me and kept things on schedule. But he *really* impressed me when I found out after the fact, that he helped us out without being asked. Apparently, the microphone we rented for the ceremony, from a different company, didn’t work and Chuck offered up one of his own. Then the iPod docking station we had planned on using for the cocktail hour (instead of paying him for an additional hour) didn’t work, but Chuck hooked it up to his system. Again, we didn’t ask him to do that and we didn’t pay for it. That’s exceeding your customer’s expectations!
Backing up a bit though, I should also say that our ‘handler’ Mark did a great job when I first called the agency. He’s the one that asked me about my vision for the wedding and how much we were planning to spend. He respected that we were on a tight budget and didn’t try to push me into anything I didn’t want, which was also important to me. He was honest and upfront about what I’d be getting based on my desire to have the cheapest package (my own words) and didn’t judge us for not doing more.
I was initially concerned I might be making a mistake by not spending more money and upgrading, but as I said, our wedding budget was tight. In the end, I’m glad I stuck to my guns because PEG provided superior customer service regardless of the size of the job. I would recommend them to anyone.
Wedding 6/4/11:DJ King X111was very cool and everyone liked him very much. MC Chuck was simply the best and everything was really great! The up lighting that DJ King X111 did really made the room look fantastic and our pictures really showed the care DJ King X111 took in making the lighting change color as the evening progressed. We got so many comments from our guests on how great the room looked, how much fun everyone was having and especially how fantastic DJ King X111 and MC Chuck were. The level of service we received from Philly Event Group was exceptional and made us feel very special.

We were very pleased with the services of Philly Event Group for Alex’s mitzvah. DJ Chuck was wonderful and really made everyone feel welcome and entertained. The photo booth was a fun part of the celebration and our guests enjoyed that as well. The level of customer service we received from Philly Event Group before and during the event helped make us feel comfortable and confident we were going to have a great family event. We will use DJ Chuck and Philly Event Group for our next Mitzvah!
