As some of you may know, our friend Victor “GLYDE” Alicea, his wife Lynette, and their 8 year old daughter Layla, are in the battle of their lives. Lynette has a rare form of Melanoma and are dealing with its effects graciously. As you can imagine, fighting any type of cancer is not easy or cheap. Lynette and Glyde have discovered an amazing facility for specialized treatments out of the country that they feel will give them the best chance to beat this horrible disease. As in many experimental treatments, they are not covered by conventional medical insurance and the costs are beyond Glyde’s means.

For the last 20 plus years, GLYDE has dedicated his life and energy to making memories for thousands of families around the world that last a lifetime. Now it’s time for us to do something memorable for him and his family. From Lynette: I am a 39 year young wife, mother, daughter, student, lover of life who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma to my brain and bone marrow.  I have undergone surgery for removal of the primary tumor, removal of all my lymph nodes in my left groin and radiation to my whole brain.  Testing + for the BRAF V600E mutation allows me to take a drug protocol which improves my survival.  Currently I am pursuing all modalities/ treatments nutritionally, alternatively and holistically that has been studied extensively and will enhance my healing to beat this cancer! My belief is that the body works as a body, mind, spirit entity.  All things are possible and I have Hope and Faith in my healing.  I thank you from my heart!
